The booklet also contains a previously published article called “The Origins of Self-Betrayal” which gives words to the mechanism by which the conscious self turns away from what it knows to be good or right, toward an attitude or action that does not conform to its own moral center. How does one who seeks to do ‘good’ turn in the direction of knowingly doing something that a part of the self deems to be ‘wrong.’

In its place will be the experience of Divine Love.”
